How it works

  1. Start

    One tap on Start, the widget, Siri or a Shortcut. Location is used only while the trip records.

  2. It ends itself

    Park and walk away: the trip closes after a few minutes. Queues and red lights don't end it. Stopped too early? Undo or Continue.

  3. Classify

    Business, private or commute, plus a purpose. Yesterday's trips take under a minute.

  4. Export

    A PDF in your country's layout for your employer or accountant, or a full CSV. The change history is printed with it.

Built around your country's log

Each country profile is built around the official requirements for that country's logs: date, odometer, route, purpose. Reference rates are the official rates, shown with their year and source.

The app shows what each profile supports, and what it doesn't, before you start. Norway: if your employer must provide an electronic kjørebok, use theirs. Odotur is your personal log and reiseregning aid.

Every change is recorded

A trip is a fact once recorded. You add to it; you never overwrite it. Edits keep the old and the new value, km fixes are separate correction rows, and a deleted trip stays in the log, struck through, with its reason.

With Pro, Odotur can show possible drives afterwards, from your iPhone's motion history or Android driving prompts. Nothing is logged until you confirm it, and each one stays marked as a possible drive.

Your trips are stored only on this phone and in your own backups. Maps and address lookups use Apple or Google.
